As a business scholar, Masahiro Kotosaka has extensive experience in corporate management, cultivated through his expertise in business strategy and his experience as a management consultant. He also possesses extensive knowledge and profound insight into the fields of risk management, compliance, and corporate governance cultivated through his experience as an outside officer at listed companies. Mercari has therefore nominated him as a candidate for Outside Director, expecting that he will draw on his knowledge and experience to contribute to strengthening the supervising and decision-making functions of the Board of Directors of Mercari.
